Life Experiences

Write about some interesting experiences you have had in your life. First, state the experience and then elaborate on that. You MUST use present perfect first, and then past simple to give more details.

Example.

I have been to New Orleans twice. The first time, I went in 2008 and then in 2015. When I went there, I ate a traditional dish called Poboy, which basically consists of two pieces of bread stuffed with some kind of meat. I also had fun at the Mardi Gras which is a traditional festival where people get drunk and walk around the streets. I also tried alligator for the first time. It tasted like chicken.

Welcome to English C2. My name is Julio Huizar and I will be teaching you English  throughout the semester. First things, first. I would like to know YOU. Please comment on this post about the things you love or the things you don't like that much. I am going to start.

I love music, and the visual arts. Specially, painting. I enjoy running so much.

I am fond of animals but I don’t have any pets. Going places is another thing I love to do.

My favourite City is New York. I don’t have children at this moment, but I would like to have

two eventually. I also love watching movies. My favourite director is Martin Scorsese.

There are also some things that I don’t really like. For instance traffic.
